Art Studio Organization

Painting in the studio can get very messing - in a fun way! This is how I organize my paints and other supplies when the paint is not flying. Simple, old-fashioned tea cups hold water color tubes. An antique, ceramic pitcher holds my brushes. An office supply organizer holds all of my acrylic paints - compartments separate the tubes by color hues. I embellished the organizer with a paper collage tag/label and finished it off with colorful yarn and glitter paint.

Green Arrangement

I added this arrangement to my living room today. With below zero weather and the wind blowing chilly air, it was nice to add some green to a cold, winter Sunday. This is an antique cheese box with silk greenery adding between decorative grass stars. The stars could be replaced with any figurine, candle or leftover christmas ornament. Same with the box, that can be replaced with whatever extra container you have at home, glass bowl, basket or box.

Winter Scene

Today was a sunny but cold winter day. Glittery snow twinkled in the trees and moved thru the air. Even though winter is frigid, it is also magical. Everything sparkles, organic patterns appear in the snowscapes,  flakes slowly float in the air and crystals hang from the branches. Deep winter is the perfect time to reflect upon the new year and be thankful for these beautiful moments in life and nature.
